Does shroud protect from abilities like deathtouch and lifelink?

I was wondering because shroud is "cannot be the TARGET of spells or ABILITIES" so I know that deathtouch and lifelink are abilities but can they still effect creatures with shroud?

yes because neither of them target.

Unless there is the case where your creature deals non-combat damage target creature. Neither deathtouch nor lifelink would work, but usally people understand that.
