    Default Dread Statuary manland lifegift

    If I change Dread Statuary to a creature when it goes back to being land, do I get life from lifegift?

    No. The land isn't coming into play - it's just changing what it looks like. It never leaves play, never comes into play, and never triggers Lifegift.
