    Default Question about Humility

Okay going to setup the way the game was played.

I have 2-3 creatures out 2/2's and Honor of the Pure on the battlefield.

    Opponent plays Humility

Do my creatures still get Honor bonus?

Humility makes your creatures 1/1's with no abilities.

Honor of the Pure gives your creatures +1/+1.

Therefore your creatures get +1/+1 per Honor of the Pure so if there's one Honor of the Pure, your creatures are 2/2's.

To expand on that, Humility's p/t setting ability applies in sublayer 7b (effects that set p/t to a specific value), whereas Honor's is applied in 7c (effects that modify p/t without setting it to a specific value).

is it possible that they reworked the layerthing with M10 ? i think there used to be some diffrent rules on layers ? though if i remeber correctly the new ones are way better ...

Yeah, they changed the layering system with M10. For example, beforehand power/toughness setting abilities and temporary changes like Giant Growth or Disfigure were on the same sublayer, so that if your animated Treetop Village was Disfigured, you could activate it again and make it a 3/3 again. That doesn't work anymore.

ahh ok that explains a wrong answer i gave a week or so ago ^^ the new layer system is pretty nice, straitforward and clear ... who would have though that M10 had some realy great changes too ... i guess all the "no more damage stack" hype kind of grabed my whole attantion ^^.
