If by "clones" you mean the card Clone then it enters the battlefield as the color of the creature it's copying...

Here's a little how it works:

1. You cast Clone (A Blue spell).
2. The spell Clone gets place on the stack. (Still Blue)
3. Clone resolves and before it enters the Battlefield, the game asks if you would like Clone to enter the Battlefield as a copy of a creature. (Still Blue)
4. You choose the creature. (Clone becomes that creature and that creature's color.)
5. Clone enters the Battlefield as a copy of said creature. (Copied Creatures color.)
