Default Infectious Host removed from combat

If I attack with Infectious Host and someone uses Remove on it, does he still lose the 2 life?

In that case, yes it will still cause them to lose 2 life. You declare it as an attacker , it's triggered ability goes on the stack. Even if your opponent then Removes the Horror, it's trigger is already on the stack and will still resolve so they lose 2.
