    Not quite. You'll get back any that are currently Mind Controlled, but it doesn't stop future Mind Controls.

    It says that the gain control effect lasts "indefinitely" - doesn't that mean till the end of the game?

    No, it just means it has no set duration. Another change-of-control effect will overwrite it.
