No, that's not how protection works. Protection only stops damage, attaching, blocking, and targeting, none of which Earnest Fellowship does.

Well, protection also prevents Aura enchantments from being attached, but of course Earnest Fellowship is not an Aura, so it isn't affected by protection anyway, as you've said. =P
