    It does gain the ability to tap for green mana, if that's what you mean.

    yeah thats what i mean

    i thought maybe it wont work because i remember some cards dont work with mana abilities

    Mana abilities still count as abilities (of the appropriate type). If a card doesn't work with mana abilities, it'll specify otherwise.
