    Default pithing needle mindbreak trap rulings magic prevent playing trap for ability cost faq

    Can I name mindbreak trap as i play pithing needle and that way prevent other player for playing mindbreak trap as a free ability?

    You can certainly name Mindbreak Trap, but it won't do you any good. Mindbreak Trap has no activated abilities. Activated abilities are always written in the form "COST: EFFECT". The identifier is the colon.
