I know that already, what I mean is if I can say that both targets are the same targets so I deal 2 to one of them like and one to another (like you said) but since I chose the same target for both targets, I end up basically dealing 3 to the same target?

Arc Trail deals 2 damage to target creature or player and 1 damage to another target creature or player.
