Bant Battlemage abilities on protection from green prot from blue prot white rulings

Say I have a Bant Battlemage in play

can I cast first ability (g, tap:Target creature gains trample until end of turn) on protection from green creature?

Can I cast 2nd ability (u, tap: Target creature gains flying until end of turn.) on protection from blue creature?

Can I cast either abilities on protection from white creature?

i dont think any of those will work cuz in first ability you are playing green and creature with protection from green cannot be target of green sources and same for blue for 2nd ability but maybe for protection from white both abilities would work because you are not paying white for them

You're wrong there. No matter what colour of mana you pay for the abilities, Bant Battlemage is still their source, and Bant Battlemage is a white permanent. So you can use either ability on a pro-green or pro-blue creature, but not on a pro-white one.

Remember, there's no such thing as a "blue ability" or a "green ability". Only an "ability from a ___ source".
