Samite Alchemist damage prevention on werewolf transform rules?

if I use Samite Alchemist on my Ludevic's Test Subject

then later that turn it TRANSFORMS

will it still have the damage prevention shield?

will it untap next turn?

On a slightly more helpful note, yes the damage will still be prevented, and no the creature won't untap. For the Xteen zillionth time, a transformed creature is still the same object, just with a different set of characteristics.
