Viridian Emissary rulings cosi's Trickster Crown of Convergence

Lets say opponent controls a Cosi's Trickster

I control a Crown of Convergence.

Top card of library is a basic land card

I play Viridian Emissary. Since the top card is revealed and is known info to be a basic land, and the rest of the library is already randomized, can I just put the land into play without searching and shuffling so that his Cosi's Trickster doesnt get a counter?

Remember the golden rule of magic, if a card says to do something then you do it. No questions unless other cards prevent it. Viridian Emissary says to shuffle after you "search" your library. Cosi's Trickster would get the counter.
