    Default Brothers Yamazaki and humility legend rules doesnt apply magic

    if there are two Brothers Yamazaki on the battlefield and I cast humility do they die?

    Well since humility causes them to lose the ability that makes it so that the legend rule doesnt apply, then they would be placed in the graveyard as a state based effect once the humility resolves

    unless there is something weird that goes on with static abilities and layers and stuff?

    you mean like with characteristic defining abilities maybe? but the Brothers' ability is not a characteristic defining ability its just a static ability so there are no layer issues here, the Brothers will end up in the graveyard
