Slagstorm faq which mode do I choose if want to damage a planeswalker?

If I cast Slagstorm and I want to deal 3 damage to a planeswalker, which is the correct mode to choose?

found the answer if anyone is interested:

You would choose the second mode (deal damage to each player) and then redirect the damage to a planeswalker that player controls

I'd just like to add that you can only damage your opponent's planeswalker this way, not your own.
