If I attack with a creature who has battle cry (like hero of bladehold) and the battle crier dies before combat damage step (like gets bolted or pathd or something) does the +1/+0 bonus still stay on other attacking creatures?

Yes. Once the ability has resolved, that's it, the bonus stays.
And for the record, once the ability has triggered (once the creature has been declared as an attacker), it'll resolve even if the creature itself dies.

We don't know the rules for Battle Cry yet. It's extremely likely that what Arix says is correct but we don't know for sure.
well we know that the Battle Cry ability is:
"whenever this creature attacks, each other attacking creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn"
so there's nothing really new about this type of ability, just a trigger that goes on the stack when the creature attacks, and when it resolves it stays on the affected creatures until end of turn
Yeah. Although the rulings aren't confirmed yet, if it worked any differently than a regular attack trigger the reminder text would say so. So unless there's a big rules overhaul, I can confidently say that that's how it'll work.
