    Default can Nightmare Lash be equipped for free if I have platinum emperion pay life rule mtg

    If I control a platinum emperion can I equip a Nightmare Lash for free?

    You cannot pay any amount of life (except 0) when you control the emperion. Thus Nightmare Lash's equip cost cannot be paid and it will stay unequipped.
