Default magic gathering bribery rules does it mean he owns card??

I was playing against my brother and he played bribery and chose a lotus cobra from my library and when the game ended he said that he owns the lotus cobra now because he controlled it but i say that i dont think thats fair because i just pulled the lotus cobra the other day but he says if i want to get it back i need to gain control of it again in another game but i dont have any cards that let me gain control and since when does magic rules allow stealing a card

ohh dear ... if i was not strickly against violance i'd sugest you give your brother a good beating

there is a big diffrence between controler and owner. you get all your cards back at the end of a game.

on top of that if the cobra would be returned to hand, put into a graveyard, shufflet into a library etc. it will allways go to its owners hand, grave or library etc.
