    does sacrificing target? Like can u sacrifice shroud creature?

    You certainly can sacrifice a creature with shroud, this is actually one of the few ways to get around shroud. Sacrificing only targets when it clearly states "target creature".
    Finally, a new generation of Pokemon for us to enjoy. There is much to look forward to in 2011!

    true. there are some effects that are worded "sacrifice target ..." but they are rare. most effect will say "sacrifice a creature" or "target play sacrifices". the last one is one way to kill creatures with shroud as the creature itself in not targeted.

    One of those cards is Ashling, the Extinguisher.

    Her text is:
    "Whenever Ashling, the Extinguisher deals combat damage to a player, choose target creature that player controls. He or she sacrifices that creature."

    If you can't target a creature, you can't force it to be sacrificed.
