    Default magic the gathering go back and buy old sets or buy new ones

    I played magic up to to like 4 years ago, then quit, and now I am coming back to the game.

    Should I go back and buy old sets, or just get the new ones?

    Most people play standard (type 2) so I would recommend starting off with the sets that will be legal going into November

    Zendikar (comes out in October)
    Magic 2010
    Shards of Alara
    Conflux
    Alara Reborn
