that largely depends on what kind of sliver deck you want to build. type 2 currently has no slivers and extendet has not enough quality of slivers. the only place you can take sliver to a tournament is legacy (and pauper ... commons only)

when building a sliver deck for casual you need to think about what kind of deck you want to do. agro, control, combo are all possible with slivers. there are some sliver allstars that should be mentiont here as a starting point:

why arent they making slivers in type 2 anymore

beacause sliver are not one of the reacuring creature typs of magic (goblins, elves, humans, merflok, zombie etc.). so slivers are a creature typ that is specific to a ceratain block. the first block to feature slivers was the rath cycle (tempest, stronghold, exodus). slivers then got lucky by beeing featured in another block, onslaught (onslaught, scourge, legions). time spiral had a design theam tuned towards past, present and future of magic. slivers are popular with the fans and are definately a part of magics history so they got a spot.

we might see sliver in some block some time in the future but no one can say for certain when and if this will occour.

oh hope they do print some more slivers soon I like those

it took 5 blocks after tempest to see slivers again and 4 after onslaught. when zendikar comes out it will be the 3red block after timespiral. of course to values is not enough to make a pattern but i could be possible to see slivers in the block after zendikar or the one after that ...

yeah I think many players like slivers, I'm sure they will be bought back in the future
