How many mana 60 card deck

I am fairly new to Magic: The Gathering, and the biggest problem I have is putting the right amount of mana in my decks. I usually build a sixty card dek and end up either having put too much mana (and then I have to many lands in my hand and nothing to cast) or too few mana (and then I have good stuff in my hand but not enough lands to cast it...)

Whats a good way to know how much mana you need to put in your deck?

depends on the deck. Play around with it until you find the right amount.Generally its between 20 to 24
