For The Serious Magic the Gathering Collector / Investor. This Is An Extremely Rare Item. There Could Possibly Be Others, But We Only Know Of This Set, & One That Is Currently At WOTC Headquarters.

This Beta Proof Set Contains All Of The Cards To Make A Complete Set On Three Seperate Uncut Sheets (Common Sheet, Uncommon Sheet, Rare Sheet) Please See Images. The Back Of The Sheets Are Blank (White). These Sheets Were Produced Before The Actual Product Was Released (You Could Call These "Artist Proofs"). Though It Is Difficult To Tell From The Photos (Light Glare Is A Factor), The Sheets Are In Exceptional Condition. The Power 9 Cards Are All Gorgeous & There Are Only A Few Minor Dimples On Any Of The Sheets.

Is that uncut sheet really worth so much?? ($20,000 selling price )

Without some kind of authenticity reciept I wouldn't spend a dime on them and it would have to come directly from WOTC saying they where authentic.

if it is authentic the price seems ok. value of stuff is determend by supplie and demand. the currten suplie of uncut bet sheets is arround 1 . the demand should be quite a bit higher ^^. hence you can ask any price you want for it and it will be reasonable as long as someone pays it. basic economics.

They did release about 500 beta sheets back in the mid 90's for about $750. The cards didn't have the backs printed on them only the front so a person couldn't cut them out to have a beta set.
