Or they'd want to avoid it entirely. "Hey guys, we're revisiting one of the worst sets ever!" isn't exactly a good sell.

Well... If you're a new player you wouldn't know it was a bad set. And if they talk about it as Ulgrotha and not Homelands players may be confused because they do not know storyline.

Also, I doubt that the richard garfield being on the team will help create a bad set.

Oh I know, and I'm not even saying it'd be a bad set. I'm just saying that it'd be hard to get players excited about a revisit to such a notoriously bad set.

It's the same reason behind why I don't thikn they'll ever revisit Kamigawa. Which in some ways sucks, but in another I'm relieved about. I'd hate for them to ruin my favourite block in the same way they ruined Mirrodin.

I would actually really like a Kamigawa return too. Yeah, it would majorly suck to see it ruined, but I'd love to see some more kitsune and/or ninjutsu.

The problem with that though is that keywords in Kamigawa can't stray too far from Kamigawa. :/

I never played much of Kamigawa. I just know it had some great cards. Some, not so great.

Well i mean Ninjutsu is okay (But most of them work better if you're just playing a ninja deck)
Soul Shift only works for spirits
Epic only works with itself and completely ****s over your ability to play spells.
The only thing that really ventures far out of kamigawa are the cards that search for legends

Idk man, I really enjoy using proliferate with the jitte.
Do you mean you can't really use kamigawa centered cards outside of the set?

One being a blue green merfolk (simic)

One a red blue human (izzet)

[DotP] Unused (future?) Planeswalker: Ral Zarek - MTG Salvation Forums

Ravnica didn't have Merfolk, nor does Kiora's "thing" really mix with the Simic.

I have to mention to you that just because something is multicolor doesn't mean it will clue in a multi color based set. I mean look, most remake planeswalkeres ARE multi color, so if these guys are multi color then it won't make a difference AT ALL!!! Just saying.

In light of Innistrad, I think this return to Ravnica is going to be very interesting! Come Ravnica, we'll have support for all those color combinations! I may actually take part in the Innistrad/Ravnica meta, I think this is going to be fantastic!

Sigh... Do I have to repeat that it is not sure where the revisit is too? Right now it seems the focal point is on the feud between Liliana Vess and Garruk Wildspeaker. I don't know where anyone is getting anything from Ravnica at. Though my personal belief is that it will revisit Ulgrotha (homelands) the other frequently rumored possibility is Ravnica.

    Close thread?

There is no revisit. The Innistrad Block takes place on the plane of Innistrad. MaRo stated this on his Twitter page months ago.

Hi guys, is it me, but in the innistrad pic where sexy lilianna is sitting in that throne with that male body on the ground behind her, could that be Baron Sengir, and that Innistrad is a return to homelands. Just a thought

There is no return to A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G!! Innistrad is Innistrad. Not Ulgrotha (Homelands). Not Ravnica. It's a new plane entirely!

Wasn't it also stated that there will be no new plains for a while?

Nothing like that was said as far as I know. Innistrad is a new plane.

Ever since the revisit to scars the whole idea of revisiting was thrown into everyone's heads. No revisit as was stated. All of that was speculation because.. well thats what we do here.. until we find the facts, which have been found. Good job people, only a few more weeks left.
