Buying a Box of Boosters

So what box should I buy any suggestions?

Other than Worldwake I already have money set aside for up to 2 boxes of that.

depneds what you want it for. usualy buying booster will not give you the cards you want straight away. buying boxes will almost never let you break even with the price you paide unless you get lucky. buying boxes is fun however and a no hassle way to get hold of cards if you want a wiede spread between competative and all kinds of casual cards. additionaly worldwake and zendikar are nice for the full-art basic lands.

when i do buy a box (rarely happens) i usually take it to the place we meet to play magic and use it to draft with friends. just for fun. i get all cards returned after that but i got a little extra out of the box.

if you want to pull cards for legacy i'd advise you not to buy any box unless you find a box of revised for like 100$ ^^. the cards played there are spread so widely accross all sets that that wont work out.

for standard zendikar is good - fetchlands, cobra, sorin, nissa, monument, goblin guide etc.

magic 2010 is actualy not bad either - dual (not real ones but they are palyed a lot in standard), baneslayer, birds, staple commons and uncommons vampire noctunous, great sable stag, master of the hunt etc.

alara reborn might be worth it too - lots of uber uncommons and commons like bloodbraid elf, buttimous blast, terminate, putrid leach, blightning. also good rares like maelstrom pulse, dauntless escort, meddling mage. being a small set the chance to get thoses is higher. also a lot of the other rares are great timmy rares. dragons, angels, big stuff. timmy players love those and you can trade them off to them for stuff you need.

wich would i get ... no idea, probably non since i dont usualy go in for boosters ^^ so just decide for yourself.

If you are staying in the Standard sets I would definitely say it should be Zendikar. Why? Because we are only 9 months away from all of Alara block and Magic 2010 rotating out where as Zendikar will be around for another 21 months. This gives you alot more time to trade and play with them before their prices take a hit from rotating out.
