is there a way of destroying indestructible creatures in magic?
Indestructible: If a permanent is indestructible, rules and effects can’t destroy it. Such permanents are not destroyed by lethal damage, and they ignore the lethal-damage state-based effect (see rule 420.5c). Rules or effects may cause an indestructible permanent to be sacrificed, put into a graveyard, or removed from the game.
Now just because you can't destroy it dosn't mean you you have to live with it just so you know destroying a creature and using Path to Exile or Journey to Nowhere are completely different since you arn't technically destroying it.
true. you can not destroy an indestructable creature. that is exactly what indestructable does. however any way that gets rid of it but does not destroy it will work. note damage causes a destroy effect, reducing the toughness to 0 does not.
So in essence(sp) you could use a card that gave a target -2/-2 and if that caused the creature to have a toughness of zero it would die?
exactly. dealing 2 damage to that creature would not kill it, -2/-2 would.
