its a list of cards that Wizards promises not to reprint

Here is the link: Official Reprint Policy : Wizards of the Coast

The complete list of reserved cards appears at the end of this document. Reserved cards will never be printed again in a functionally identical form. A card is considered functionally identical to another card if it has the same card type, subtypes, abilities, mana cost, power, and toughness. No cards will be added to the reserved list in the future. No cards from the Mercadian Masques set and later sets will be reserved. In consideration of past commitments, however, no cards will be removed from this list. The exclusion of any particular card from the reserved list doesn't indicate that there are any plans to reprint that card.

Black has a lot of VERY powerful spells, which are balanced due to their high mana cost. Enter Dark Ritual, that balance is gone

Some of you might look at my post count and discount me since this is my first post. Please don't make that mistake.

Wizards is not going to reprint Dark Ritual in a Standard-legal set. No "Level-5 Judge" who said that it was going to be reprinted the last 3 sets is to believed. People complaining that they would stop playing Magic would not stop them from printing it if they really wanted to (which they won't print). This has been Magic's most successful year financially and some people complaining on a forum won't get them all bothered to get them to stop one card from being printed.

Even if they did want to change something, the sets have been locked in for months. Complaining now about Mirrodin Besieged won't do you any good and any grass-roots campaign will get you no where.

I believe (my opinion) that Dark Ritual will continue to see print in the Duel Decks and such casual sets like Archenemy. There's no harm in them doing that since Dark Ritual is not on the Reserved List and many causal players love that card.

Don't believe the hype, the fear-mongering, and the false rumors.

Anyway this volume guy every set he keeps claiming that Dark Ritual will be in that set. Maybe some day they will print it and then he will be lucky to be right even though no one would belive hime (kinda like the boy who cried wolf) but I'm sure there's no level 5 judge feeding him any information.

If you hang out more in this forum youll get used to this type of stuff, like people paniciking that a 10/10 card costing 10 mana is broken, or someone who gives out orb of insight codes every set though sometimes it is all this weird stuff that makes this forum more interesting
