    60 card. idealy 60 cards that work together as a deck so you need lands and non-lands, you need to be able to cast the non-land with the lands you put in. you could start of with the garruk vs. liliana duel deck that pretty good to get going or some other preconstructed deck. that way you do not have to build your own deck befor you have some play expiriance.
