depends what you want to playtest for ?

if your just playtesting for casual its usualy sufficent to "goldfish". thats basicly playing solitair with yourself to see how draws are how the mana works etc.

if your testing for a tournament try to get some friends and prox all deck you expect will be played and play angainst those. then play thoses decks against your deck to see how you would beat your own deck. that realy helps to find weeknesses. after that give the mirror match a go. all the time whilst doing that you can tweak your deck and make it better etc.

one other thing is, to always play against the best player you know. You will only be as good as the people you play against.

Also don't overlook your mistakes. If you do something that was a bad choice and catch it half way thru don't say "wait, I think I'll do it this way instead." you've announced it, live with it and remember next time who to better handle the play. If you practice wrong you will perform wrong.
