starting magic the gathering deck ideas

waht are some easy decks for someone just starting magic the gathering

anything that focuses on attaking creatures is fairly easy to play with.

with the current set zendikar i would recomend something like vampires or goblins.

thats a red agro deck that realy easy to play as all you do is attack as fast and as much as possible. its also not that expensive if you do not play Arid Mesa or Scalding Tarn.

but may be playing realy agressiv is not your thing ... in that case give me some more infos on how much you already know about the game / types of decks, what cards you own and how much you want to spend on your first deck and i can give you some more detailed advice.

ok you have a ball lightnig there so that would be a good start in the red agressive deck direction. since a deck needs at least 60 cards 1 booster wont realy do the trick ...

an easy alternative would be to buy a preconstructed deck (i think they are called intropacks and theme decks) or you could buy one of them planechanse decks. that way you will have a compleat first deck in your hands right away. these decks can still be improved a lot but your ready to play right away.

also end of the month garruk vs. lilian duel deck comes out. that gives you a green and a black dekc to play with and gives you a shiny garruk and lilian. from what ive heard some of the cards in that box are realy good.
