seriously if you start buying zendikar boosters only because you could pull a mox then you just fell for the lotery trick. the chance of getting the card you want is 64000:1 ... you might as well play lottery ... chances are even slimer there but the payout is unreasonably more too ... you can then take that money and buy yourself all the power 9 you want. dont let marketing fool you.
yeah I agree you should not aim solely for the priceles treaures, but just see it as a nice bonus if you do pull them
Yeah dont forget that Zendikar has some very cool cards by itself
the old cards inserted in Zendikar are a nice little prize but the main reason to buy a zendikar booster should be the zendikar cards themselves
I bought 2 boxes of M10 and am gonna buy 1 box of Zendikar
but if I had known of the Zendikar mox before I'd have bought 1 box of M10 and 2 boxes of zendikar instead :(
If I buy a Zendikar case, how many priceless treasure cards am I expected to pull?

Like for example several months ago someone bought my set of 4x unlimited sinkhole on Ebay. Couldve been a wizards employee buying these so that they have them to place in Zendikar boosters.

The cards will only be in the first run. Personally the odds are so low I don't plan to change my buying habits. Out of the 3 pre-release events I went to there was a total of 4 treasures opened, 1 lions eye diamond, 1 Bayou, 1 Underground Sea, 1 Sol Ring.

I think the odds are higher then a treasure in 1 in 20 zendikar boxes, maybe its a treasure in 1 in 5 zendikar boxes because I've been hearing of a lot of people pulling them

I know chances are small, but for those comparing the zenikar treasure promotion to a lottery its not the same,
When I buy 10 lottery tickets I either win or lose if I dont win anything then those lottery tickets are not good for anything
but if I buy 10 Zendikar Boosters and I dont pull a treasure card then its not like I dont have anything, I have 150 cards including 10 rare and maybe a mythic and some foils. so even though I did not pull old cards I did not "lose" since I have lotsa cards I can play with.
And Zendikar has some great cards like lotus cobra and the fetchlands and landfall cards and so... its one of the best sets even without the treasure
So yeah the treasure are nice bonus cards but its not like buying lottery tickets its more like buying normally and have a chance to get bonus cards

Yeah I think prices for the out of print cards that are already on the market will drop slightly... am guessing by like around 15-20%?
But we will have to see how many of these "new" out of print show up in the market after zendikar is officially released this week.
