What do you think of this auction, is it worth it? (Not that I can afford it, just curious how valuable such a collection could be)

Well, the time has come for me to realize I am sitting on a lot of money that could be used to help buy a house. I compiled this set over years upon years and have been playing since a lot of these were new and never got rid of them. Some were fresh from packs when I placed them in this set. I decided to keep my old favs and sell the rest. None of these are Collector's Edition or International edition. There's no proxies or fakes in here. All real betas and alphas. This is NOT one of those stupid repack things. You get all of these.

Very ,very, close to a full set obviously. It's 25 cards short of being complete and not all are rares. The Power 9 are in here excepting the Lotus. The Mox Sapphire is signed by the artist and the Mox Jet is a misprint. It was crimped in the flow wrap machine making it quite the rarity.

But that's not all you will get with this since I am getting rid of all the extras I acquired while upgrading condition on them. Sometimes I got a hold of an Alpha and it was a placeholder until I found the beta version. So here are those.

I actually looked up every single card to get an idea of what I had here. I averaged three sites prices and came up with a total of over $14,000 just in the partial set alone. Then to be realistic I added up what you could sell every card on Ebay for individually and checked the "Completed Listings" auctions and not the overpriced "buy it nows" and got a little over $10,000 just on the partial set alone and much higher than that considering what everyone else is selling this stuff for. That's not counting all the extras and I was fairly lenient on the condition since some are played. Look up the prices yourself on here if you like and see. Luckily for everyone who's bidding on this I am perfectly happy with less that that as I only need $7000. So I am starting it there. The Buy it now price is pretty reasonable. I deal in enough cards to know I am not overpricing this. It's a good deal and I know it. If that's not enough I am throwing in a bonus if the Buy it Now is used. I will add in an Signed Unlimited Black Lotus! This will not be part of the collection unless the buy it now is used though. Just an added incentive as I would like to get a decent price for the lot obviously.

This is an excellent opportunity to either get a huge jump on building a set, acquire a ton of Alpha/Betas for your own collection, or if you have more time than I do, sell it all off here individually and make a few thousand. I am willing to take a loss to not have to list several hundred cards.
