summoning trap price increase mtg

do you see summoning trap's price increasing by a lot when Rise of the Eldrazi comes out because of all those expensive Eldrazi creatures?

It may increase some... but very unlikely because there is no solid way of ensuring that one of the next 7 cards is an eldrazi. Also there aren't a lot of creature counter spells being used (since creature removal is so strong, and better than counter at this time), so this trap is usually hard casted.

I personally would rather run mana ramps or mana producing creatures over summoning trap.

especialy since you are missing out on the "when you cast this" part of the eldrazi if you use summoning trap

Probably the only card I might "not cast" is Emrakul because of its "protection from colored spells"... but again... I highly doubt anyone would play more than 1 in a deck.

I tried to make a deck around those with a couple of Eye of Ugin... WORST idea ever.

Eye of Ugin - No (this is really only good if you are some how playing solid colorless eldrazi... or for it's tutor ability.)
