There are cards that cause you to win the game if you have a specific life total.

Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance, Near-Death Experience.

Only the last life matters, & if you have something like Platinum Angel up your sleeve, even that may not be needed. I've won on "negative we stopped counting" a few times.

I meant without using a special card, how much life do I need to have to win? like 100?

You only need 1, barring special bs. Having anything above1 life doesn't make you win unless you have something that says so like the cards Jake mentioned.

You can't win via lifegain, you can have 800 trillion^400 million life and still not win.
