If you're just starting, your best bet is an M10 intro pack. Any of them would be fine.

I don't want to sound like a broken record...but you can't go wrong with that damn Eventide Sidestep theme deck...take out the Crag Puca, the Hatchet Bully, the Merrow Levitator, the Noggle Bridgebreaker, put in another Riverfall Mimic, three more Dominus of Fealty, possibly a few more Stream Hoppers for quick 1/1 flying creatures...take out the two Burn Trails and replace them with 2 Incinerate/2 Cancel, put in another Clout of the Dominus, replace the Flame Jab with a Lightning Bolt or another Incinerate, replace the Jams of Stone with a Spire Barrage, the Oona's Grace with a Divination, the Spell Syphon with a Cancel....*takes a breath*...and you have yourself an unstoppable deck Sir!

    HOWEVER...

That Eventide Sidestep deck will work just find how it is until you tweak it...eBay or looking through the cards you have...good luck! That is my tweaked Eventide Sidestep deck and that thing does not loose...people groan when they realize I'm using it...

I'd say your playing casual and the people havn't put the effort into making a deck to beat it as it's been said no deck is unbeatable in Magic.

Why would you want to play a game that was initially an inception of casualty as an extremely competitive one? I guess that I can't spend every single waking moment of my life playing Magic and making decks

Well then that is the only reason you havn't been beaten with the deck then is because no one puts the effort forth to build a deck to beat it.

On another note about the thread I would pry buy a Zendikar or M10 Core Set Intro pack and hang out at your local meta and the people will show you how to play and most likely have cards to build the deck up to a 60 card deck so you could play in some of the standard tourneys, which I think help you learn very quickly when you play in them.

Yeah...I agree...I live in the country though and don't get to the city often to play in tournaments...and even if I did, I wouldn't be allowed to use that deck...they only do booster drafts in Ottawa...
