What do you mean by that?

If you mean when something says, for example, "Land - Plains Island", then it means the land counts as both a Plains and an Island (it'll be counted by both Armored Ascension and Flow of Ideas), and it can tap for either white or blue mana.
    Fluttershy is best pony.

Or if you mean a card like this Ashenmoor Gouger (Shadowmoor) - Gatherer - Magic: The Gathering
then you can use any combination to total three mana being BBB, BRB, BBR, RRB or any other to cast the creature.
