Honestly this is pretty straight forward if you ask me, but I will give you the info.

When it comes into play if your lifetotal is 10 then you put ten counters on it.

Now everytime a land comes into play your life total will go back to 10

Example:

You play vessel your life total is 10 you put ten counters on vessel.

Your turn passes and your opponent begins play lets say does 5 damage to you then passes play to your turn.

You begin your turn untap, draw, and then play a land on your turn (if you have one) then the landfall trigger on vessel is activated making your lifetotal become 10 again because that is the number of counters on your vessel
