    Default Does creature with shroud stop trample damage?

    If I block a 5/5 monster that has trample using my 3/3 creature that has shroud, do I still take trample damage?

    shroud protects against the creature being targeted. Trample damage has nothing to do with targetting.

    So you would take the 2 trample damage in this case.

    Shroud stops targeting and targeting only. Trample has nothing to do with targeting, so shroud doesn't interact with it in any way - you'll still take damage here.
