    Default Mirran Crusader giant growth protection from green magic

    If I'm casting giant growth on my mirran crusader can I just turn off the protection from green part and leave protection from black on, or do I need to turn them off both?

    Protection isn't something you just "turn off" at will. Unless you play something that causes loss of abilities, the pro is not a choice

    Same deal with everything. You can never just "turn off" an ability unless it specifically says so (see Mist Dragon).
