magic the gathering how much land per deck is suggested

Hi thanks for answering my question about trample.

I had another qeustion, how much land is it suggested I put in a deck? Is 20 lands ok?

As has been said elsewhere, it depends on the deck. The usual number for a basic 60 card deck is 24. If your cards are all relatively cheap and/or you have ways of producing extra mana, you can lower that number.
