does an enchanment stay on a creature with regeneration in magic?

I had the same question and curious about what kind of situation you are talking about.

I know an enchantment is a permanent so I understand that it stays until destroyed.

If a creature has regenerate and the creature dies does the enchantment stay on that creature if it's regenerated? Or does the enchantment goto the grave yard?

when you regenerate something it is never actualy destroyed. it is something called a replacement effect. being destroyed is replaced by being not destroyed.

since the creature is never actualy destroyed nothing happens to any enchantments on it.
