Cards in general tend not to be self-aware.

Shroud is shroud. Something w/shroud can't be the target of spells or abilities. Non-targeting spells and abilities can affect things w/ shroud.

i think what he is trying to ask is if creatures with shroud can target themselves with their own ablities and the answer is no, cuz when you a creature has shroud it cant be the target of spells and abilities not even your own abilities and not even that creature's own abilities
