    Default If a Goldenglow Moth blocks and is killed in combat, do I still gain the 4 life? Mtg

    If I block with this creature:

    Goldenglow Moth (Magic 2011) - Gatherer - Magic: The Gathering

    and it dies (because attackes has more power then the toughness of my creature)

    Would I still gain the four life?

    Yes, you do. You actually gain the life before damage is even dealt. Considering it has 1 toughness, it'd be kind of pointless otherwise, wouldn't it?
