    Default if double strike creatures kills blocking creature during 1st strike,does dmg go thru

    in a magic the gathering combat If a double striker kills the blocker during the first phase of the double strike, does damage from the second strike go through to the player?

    No. Once an attacking creature has become blocked, it remains blocked all throughout combat - even if the blocker dies, it won't deal any damage to your opponent (unless it has trample).
    Fluttershy is best pony.
