You can't attack creatures. Ever.
Fluttershy is best pony.
what do you mean, I know you dont need any special abilities to attack creatures without flying but just not sure about creatures with flying but I called my friend and he said i can attack them with a rich creature (not sure what that is) or with another creature with flying
No, I mean you can never attack creatures, regardless of any abilities they may have. You can only ever attack your opponent (or a planeswalker they control), and then they can choose whether to block with their own creatures. You never attack creatures directly.

prolly he meant a creature with reach like for example a Needleshot Gourna
and yea u attack a planeswalker or player and they block and your creatures with flying can only be blocked by creatures with reach or by other creatures who have flying

although i heard they are changing in in innistrad so now creatures can attack other creatures
Innistrad is introducing a new ability called "Fight", where two creatures deal damage to each other. This type of ability has been around for a while, it just never had a name. It has nothing to do with attacking or combat.
Also, near 11-month necropost.
