    Default Kami of the Tended Garden unless you pay G mandatory or optional magic

    Kami of the Tended Garden tells me to sacrifice it if I dont pay G at beginning of upkeep "At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice Kami of the Tended Garden unless you pay G"

    Do I have to pay the Green mana if I have it available, or can I choose not to pay it and have him sacrificed?
