Maximum of same card 4 but what if different sets magic

I understand max of samecard I can use in a deck is four, but what if I have the same cards but from different sets, can I use more than 4 as long as I don't have more than 4 from same set?

Nope. As long as they have the same English name, they're considered to be the same card, regardless of set, artwork, or anything else.
