Another question about Heroclix Rule of Three

Thanks for clarifying to me about the rule of 3,

I had another related heroclix rules question:

Ok so let's say I use 3 perplexers to raise the damage value of one of my characters by 3.

Now I attack with this character, and roll a critical hit. Will I do the 1 extra damage from the critical hit, or maybe not because I already raised damage by 3 so crit hit cannot add any more damage?

Critical hit is not limited by the rule of 3. It's all about the wording; The rules state that the rule of 3 applies to modifying combat values. Critical hit does not affect combat values, but instead increases damage dealt.

so you would be doing 4 extra damage, despite the rule of 3.
