Heroclix Rules Question: Super Strength

Thanks for helping me with the rules questions so far,

Had another question regarding Super Strength, picking up an object, and breaking away.

Let's say I have Hulk adjacent to an enemy figure. There's also an object adjacent. I want to move and pick that object, but I fail my break away roll. Can I still pick up the object? (without actually moving)

I Think You Could Pick Up The Object, It Is A Free Action After All, And It Can Be Used At Any Time, Unfortunately I Do Not Think You Can Pick Up Objects Adjacent To Your Character, Just When They Land On It.

Super strength says that:

"When this character moves as part of a move action, power action, or free action, it can
pick up an object as a free action and carry it."

Break away says:

"If a character occupying a square adjacent to
one or more opposing characters is given an action and attempts to
move, that character must successfully break away before it can
move...Roll a d6. On a result of 1–3, the
character fails to break away and can’t move; its action is over, and
the player gives it an action token."

Since picking up an object with super strength is part of a move action, and failing to break away prevents the move action, it follows that you cannot pick up an object if you fail to break away.

True, But Hypothetically If You Are On The Square That Has An Object, Whether Or Not You Break Away, Since It Is Considered A Free Action You Could Still Do It, But Then Again, Why Didn't The Person Just Pick Up The Object BEFORE Breaking Away?

Its a free action, but it still has its requirements (in this case it has to be during a move action)

There could be several reasons why the object wasnt picked up when the character landed in that square initially, including super strength being outwitted, character was carrying another object, etc

But Say It Is A New Turn And Their Super Strength Is No Longer Outwitted And They Are Capable Of Carrying An Object, Is It Possible To Pick Up Now, Then Attempt Break Away?
