What we have here is a Very Rare 1930s Gillette Somerset Shaving Kit.
This Exceptionally Rare 1930s Gillette Somerset shaving kit is in almost MINT condition, there is NO wear on the outside of the case, the hinges are in magnificent condition, and the button on the front of the case that opens the lid works exactly as it should. The case closes tightly and stays shut and opens with a push of the button.

There is NO wear on the inside of the case except for a bit of fading of the Royal purple color on the inside of the lid, the bottom part of the inside of the case is also covered in Royal purple fabric which is in MINT condition with no holes or rips. Please refer to the pictures.

This magnificent, extremely hard to find shaving kit, consists of what Gillette called the "NEW" razor, that has NO plate loss anywhere, and a blade box that also has NO wear at all. The entire kit is gold with filigree design on the outside lid of the case. The kit shines as if it's factory new, you can actually see yourself in it. This shaving kit has not been replated or refurbished in any kind of way, it is all Original.
